The Elegant Simplicity of the Electric Universe

The Elegant Simplicity of the Electric Universe

A synopsis by Wal Thornhill

A definition of the elegance of a scientific hypothesis is that it be well designed, coherent and pleasingly ingenious. The Electric Universe fulfils these requirements. It is firmly based on plasma cosmology, which alone predicted recent surprising discoveries of star birth like “pearls on a necklace.” However, the EU is unique in using a forensic analysis of human observations of the sky stretching back to prehistoric rock art and petroglyphs that reveal dramatic electrical events in the solar system, memorialised as the terrifying Thunderbolts of the Planetary Gods. They show we live in an Electric Universe!

This insight highlights “the things we don’t know we don't know" like what is gravity, magnetism, mass and energy? It offers simple, coherent answers to these fundamental questions.  The EU simplifies concepts and removes contradictions like the wave/particle duality of light and the incompatibility of Einstein’s description of gravity with quantum theory. Perhaps most importantly it shows how we are Earthlings, intimately connected to each other, to our jewel of a planet, to the electric Sun and to the living Electric Universe.
