Ancient Civilisations

20 Apr 2018

An article at https://www.cambridge.org/core/journals/international-journal-of-astrobi... ... the Silurian hypothesis has been aired this month - considering how geology erodes over millions of years would it be possible to detect an industrial civilisation in the geological record - which is an interesting point. However, if catastrophism was at play surely some hint of an industrial complex would have been preserved along with fossils etc. Having said that Robert points out that Velikovsky was  asked a similar question to which he replied, 'there were civilisations like ours that were destroyed. There's no question whatever about this ... these civilisations are now buried so deeply within the lower strata of the Earth that we simply do not have archaeological evidence of their existence.'

If the link above does not work do not fret, the silurian hypothesis is everywhere on the Net - such as at https://phys.org/print443176951.html ... and www.eurekalert.org/multimedia/pub/168054.php ... and https://arxiv.org/abs/1804.03748
