Palaeolithic Farming

At ... which is much as many have suspected. Cut marks on animal bones do not necessarily imply the use of stone and bone tools by early hominids. Many examples of human tool use may have nothing whatsoever to do with humans, or their earlier ancestors (such as Lucy). Some may be giant bite marks - inflicted by crocodiles, or big carnivores. These are often explained as primary evidence of butchering of carcasses using stone and bone tools.

Bob Johnson talk and video

It is worth watching the Bob Johnson video on our home page as the title, 'The Source of the Sun's Electrical Activity' questions some of the Electric Universe claims that have been around for a while. New evidence from mainstream scientists, who are actively researching electricity in space, require taking on board, rather than sticking heads in the sand. Geomagnetic spike

Gary forwarded the first link and William the second (to the same story). See ... and ... unexpectedly high magnetic fields were identified in Jordan and Israel. C14 dating came up with 1000BC. At ... the Guardian wine drinking metropolitan set are pleased to learn that clay pottery dating back 8000 years bear the tell tale traces of wine making. Chicxulub and Cordillera

Researchers extracted cores from the Chicxulub crater recently - see ... It measures 110 miles across (180km) and is situated in Mexico's Yucatan peninsular. An object 6 miles across is thought to have crashed into the Earth - and brought the dinosaur age to a close. The research was focused on taking samples from the peak ring (under 50 feet of water). Holes were drilled into the sea floor to as far as 4380 feet deep.
