Oera Linda

Anyone who has read early copies of SIS Workshop will remember that the Oera Linda book and controversy fascinated a couple of our members. It seems it is now accepted wisdom that it was all a wheeze – a masterful hoax. SIS  editors quickly provided a counter argument but the subject occasionally cropped up a nymber of times. Not in the main SIS journal, Review, but in Workshop – which was designed to put into print unusual ideas and members musings of a less credible kind. Funny it should resurface at this site nigh on 50 years later.
