It also stresses the differences between polar bears and brown bears – although hybrids are known. What is obvious when assessing the palaeoclimate record on polar bears is that they have lived through a succession of climate changes – why would the current minor warming event cause a crisis? Humans are the enemy of the polar bear – hunters.
