Humans in America prior to the Late Glacial Maximum

11 November 2013

This story was at www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2004/11/041118104010.htm … this is an old story going back to 2004 but repeated here because it doesn't seem to have had any follow up. Not surprising perhaps as mainstream might not like to have humans in the Americas that early. It claims in the headline that human tools have been found in river sediments dating as long ago as 50,000 years in the past – prior to the Late Glacial Maximum, when the ice sheet reached as far as northern USA.
