Bermuda Triangle

We haven't heard a lot from this bit of alarmism for awhile but www.livescience.com/48290-siberian-holes-bermuda-triangle-mystery.html … where it seems several mysterious craters that have mysteriously appeared in Siberia are being used to explain the hype surrounding the Bermuda Triangle. Explosions of trapped methane gas are thought to account for the Siberian craters – but this should not be thought as a given, but a hypothesis. In July local reindeer herders reported a crater that had appeared on the Yamal Peninsular (which has resonance with dodgy climate science but not the subject of this post). Later, two more holes appeared elsewhere. Basically, they are sink holes. The explanation can be accepted – or not.
