Seems like two consensus theories are now in a head lock, being used as a battering ram in support of each other. Gary Gilligan forwarded the link – www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2960865/Did-climate-change-cause… … and is the result of research being done in Oman in SE Arabia where Out of Africa folk have been desperate to find evidence of early human movement. Most of the Arabian peninsular is out of bounds to archaeologists. Actually, there is nothing new here as it is well known that Arabia, and the Sahara, have experienced periods of desert like conditions intersected by phases of wet climate with a flourishing vegetation. Its all to do with the changing monsoon tract – or that is the official explanation. In reality it may be a little more complex.
