A thousand such small reactors could replace the necessity for the Hinkley Point C nuclear power station the politicos are struggling with. A UK based development consortium is behind the move to supply Poland with the micro devices which are designed to produce local power and heat. They also hope to sell them to Canada. The UK itself is not mentioned – solar and wind are the wing and a prayer our politicos have their pennies invested in, backed up by banks of diesel generators (when the wind fails and the grey sky is prolonged).
