Phew

Phew, Saved by the bell. It seems clones of Dr Strangelove types have been blocked by the US, Saudi Arabia, and Brazil – in the nick of time (just as the earth has entered cooling mode). The story is at https://wattsupwiththat.com/2019/03/19/u-s-blocks-u-n-resolution-on-geoe… … it seems a motion has been derailed at the UN that sought to lace the sky with sunlight reflecting aerosols in order to bring imaginary global warming to an end. One may wonder what the true motive was as aerosols in the atmosphere are quickly washed away. Do the climate scientists now realise they have got it wrong big time and wish to to create a smoke and mirrors situation, pretending they have solved the problem of warming (just as it is getting colder naturally). The motion was dreamed up at a UN Environmental Assembly conference in Nairobi. The proposers sought to make the UN responsible and seize the initiative. One may expect further attempts at pusing the motion – but without US support who is going to pay for it?
