At https://archaeologynewsnetwork.blogspot.com/2019/06/2700-year-old-watcht… … a 2700 year old watchtower was discovered at a military base in southern Israel according to the Israel Antiquities Authority. It dates back to the reign of Hezekiah and was constructed with large stones at a high point with a wide view. There was a network of towers and fortresses used for communications, warnings and signalling. Was this the sort of watchtower manned bny Isaiah?
