The four studies are from the Russian Far East, the Indian Ocean, Antarctica, and the South China Sea. In other words, distributed around the globe. Bang goes the alarmist narrative that the medieval warm period was a local phenomenon, confined to the North Atlantic zone [mostly in order to explain away Vikings on Greenland]. In fact, it is looking like the current level of global warming is a mere pimple as the Roman Warm Period is acknowledged as warmer than the medieval episode and the Roman one may have been a shadow of the Minoan Warm Period [the LB age]. Modern warming of course is the product of modeling. In reality, it is nothing like what the models portray. It should alert everyone to the dangers of computer usage, when it comes to science. Computers like cycles for instance, and computers will find them, whether they exist or not. Computers will extrapolate – so if the temperature goes up it will produce a graph in which the temperature will always go up, and never downwards. However, in the late 1970s, the temperatures did drop back a bit and this led to extrapolation once again. We were on the brink of a new Ice Age. Beware of those claiming to foresee the future. That includes climate scientists. And politicos.
