At https://dailygalaxy.com/2025/06/a-giant-jellyfish-size-building/ … we learn about a jellyfish that grows to 8 feet in diameter and has tentacles that extend for another 60 feet. This is the lions mane jellyfish and it catches its prey using its tentacles. However, its prey is small fish, tiny crustaceans, and other jellyfish – such as moon jellies. The tentacles are covered in stinging cells, known as nematocysts, which harbour neurotoxins to immobilise prey victims.
