Hot Plasma and Black Holes

Science research establishes black holes emit jets of hot plasma but in this study it is interpreted as part and parcel of the mainstream view of black holes. Giving fresh life to a tired consensus model. See https://phys.org/news/2026-10-hot-plasma-rapidly-black-holes.html … one supermassive black hole appears to consume surrounding matter whilst firing powerful streams of hot plasma into space. The research comes from Tohoku University in Japan. This appears to contradict current modern thinking about black holes – but there is no problem in moving the goalposts. Feeding on passing matter by black holes is supposed to result in the event horizon – accretion discs that prevent powerful jets from forming. Yet, they do. Observations from X-ray imaging together with radio telescopes was used and the scientists were able to see hot plasma surrounding the black hole and a jet emerging out of it. The author suggests several ideas that may explain what they witnessed. They say also that there is a mechanism to explain why a feeding black hole produces jets of hot plasma. The researchers are not satisfied  it would seem as they are now looking for a more powerful black hole feeding frenzy to study. At https://phys.org/news/2026-10-giant-canyon-mars-tectonically-today.html … a giant canyon on Mars is still tectonically active today – in spite of the passage of time. Billions of years after it was first found. Jung Hun Sing, the lead author of the research. Valles Marinenis is a vast canyon system that stretches 2400 miles in length and up to 370 miles in width. It is over 5 miles deep. Hence, it is 20 times wider 9 times longer and 5 times deeper than the Earth’s Grand Canyon.
