After reading through John North’s book on Stonehenge and neolithic alignments I decided to have a look and see what other people have said on the subject. John North was near the top of the academic tree and safely embedded in a Danish university a long way from his potential enemies in Britain. He was, in other words, largely impregnable as far as criticism was concerned by lesser academics who were vociferously opposed to Alexander Thom’s research. Instead, they simply ignored his book.
