Dark Flow

Science Daily March 12th (www.sciencedaily.com id100310162829) … ‘Mysterious Cosmic Dark Flow Tracked Deeper into Universe’ – distant galaxy clusters mysteriously stream at a million miles per hour it is estimated, along a path roughly centred on the southern constellations of Centaurus and Hydra. We did not set out to find the data – we cannot make it go away, a NASA scientist said, (see March 20th issue of The Astrophysical Journal Letters). The dark flow is controversial because the distribution  of matter in the observed universe cannot account for it. It’s existence suggests that some structures beyond the visible universe, outside our horizon, is pulling on matter in our vicinity.
