http://hockeyschtick.blogspot.com/2010/08/paper-cosmoclimatology-is-real.html is a report on a paper in the Journal of Geophysical Research 142 (2010) which comes out in support of Henrik Svenmark’s hypothesis. The Passive Atmospheric Sounding instrument onboard Enviset (MIPAS-E) from July 2002 to March 2004 were used to investigate a possible link between galactic cosmic rays and mid altitude to high altitude clouds. It seems the instrument found this to happen, which basically means, natural fluctuations in the circulation patterns of the atmosphere can result in changes in global cloud cover. Clouds are the earth’s sun shade and it cloud cover changes for any reason you have global warming – or global cooling.
