At http://heritageofjapan.wordpress.com/2013/07/14/stone-age-and-ancient-tu… … which confirms people in northern Japan were in active contact with Korea, especially 20,000 years ago when the two lands were far closer to each other. It is also thought large numbers of migrants reached Japan by way of Korea – at different points in history. This is recognised as happening between the 4th and 7th centuries AD. I find this amusing in a way as so many things Japanese have their parallel in Britain – from legends similar to King Arthur to migrations coinciding with the Anglo Saxon intrusions.

At www.jewishpress.com/news/breaking-news/search-for-strong-egyptian-leader… … which refers to a period when Hazor was closely associated with the Egyptians – suggested by the discovery of a piece of a sphinx statue which as the name of Mycerinus, a pharaoh of the Old Kingdom. Unfortunately, the piece of sphinx was found in LB age Hazor – contemporary with dynasty 18 or 19. So, what does it mean? It appears to be 2000 years out of context. It is being explained away as a trophy of the Hyksos, following their adventures in Egypt at the end of the MK (still over a thousand years out of date – in both directions). At www.postandcourier.com/article/20130707/PC16/130709582/1177/scientists-w… … Bulls Scarp is a rock ledge under 140 feet of sea water – but it was a coastal promontory during the Ice Age. It is situated off the coast of NE America, out in the Atlantic, on the edge of the continental shelf system. Bulls Scarp is a piece of rock rising out of the scarp face that drops 500 feet downwards – and attracts Grouper and Red Snappers (which is how it was discovered as these are prime dinner plate fish). It is hoped human artifacts will be found there over the next few years, shining a light on prehistory in N America (pre Clovis).
