Never before … so much ice

3 May 2014
Climate change

Oh dear, lots of ice in the Antarctic. Seems like climate scientists are waking up. Joe Bastardi has been saying for years it is the ocean currents that warm the Arctic. Sceptics have been saying for just as long that oceans play a role, acting as one of Earth's thermostats (in this water world). Unfortunately, even while admitting they were wrong they are still trying to bamboozle reality b saying the ozone hole plays a role. Go to http://notrickszone.com/2014/05/02/spiegel-on-antarctic-sea-ice-never-be… … Well, not for about 50 years or so.

… and never before, so much mirth … This comes from www.bishop-hill.net/blog/2014/5/1/lord-stern-frs.html ..and basically concerns the election to a Fellow status of the Royal Society of Lord Sterm – the man famous for a comical economic report based on fanciful CAGW. He is in good company however as Ehrlich is also a Fellow – and equally wrong on everything he has projected. Seems like the RS are feeding at the trough in a big way – sucking up to politicos and all those funds splashed around by CAGW doomsaying organisations (mainly run by hedge funds keen to protect their investments in renewables, and the renewable companies feasting on Joe Public's largesse, the subsidies that make it a 'sound investment' not to be missed). Oh, the games that people play – and how might this all end?
