I trawled through all of them and some good points were made. Leif Svalgaard, solar physicist and often visitor to Anthony's place, is not a fan of the EU. It became clear that he had probably not watched Bob's presentation as he would have noticed Bob actually quoted from one of his own articles. He was chipping in from past visits to the Thunderbolts web site – and had not actually 'entertained' himself by listening to what Bob had to say (or that is the way it seems to come across).
Basically, the comments are divided roughly equally between people that enjoyed the presentation and said it was thought provoking and others who were extremely sceptical of the Electric Universe and consider it a cult rather than good science. Svalgaard was strongly attached to the nuclear Sun model and to the role of gravity as the prime force in the universe.
