Bacteria in Space

Gary sent in this link to https://phys.org/news/2020-07-space-wasnt-dangerous-bacteria-deadly.html … which is a piece that comes from The Conversation so is a question of opinion, validity unknown. The theory is that bacteria when released from the bounds of the earth system and sent into space along side human endeavours, may evolve in dangerous and deadly forms and become a menace then for humans venturing into space in the future. Bacteria on earth is affected by such things as gravity, as an example, or buoyancy. In space there is micro gravity etc and therefore bacteria attached to the space station, as an example, has to find counter strategies, and it gets even worse when bacteria is transferred to Mars. It is in effect a word of warning – but will anyone take notice. Can anyone actually do anything about it.
