Tibet Glacier

The researchers, using a mathematical model, have shown that a small fall in temperature, around 5 degrees (which is not much, relative to the annual fall in temperatures during the Ice Ages) would cause a small ice sheet to start to form, and that would grow. However, they failed to find evidence in the field that such an ice sheet had ever existed in Tibet, over hundreds of thousands of years (to any degree larger than the current one). The cooling in Tibet must have been less than 5 degrees, is the conclusion.
