one arm of mainstream might be waking up

25 October 2014
Climate change

It seems that some scattered sections of mainstream media is just about waking up to the scale of the money awash in the great global warming scare – and they have only tickled around at the tip of the scam. There is plenty more to emerge when journalists venture deeper into the morass – go to www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2807849/EXPOSED-shadowy-network-funded-… and the same story is discussed at www.bishop-hill.net/blog/2014/10/26/lights-on-factories-off.html … which is a parody in some ways of the Green Blob and the way it has wiggled its way into every corner of the government machine and its bureaucracy. Nobody yet knows the scale of the money shifting into the dodgy pockets of corrupt politicians in both houses of parliament – but it is sure to be eye watering. This amount is in turn peanuts in comparison with the financial industry and the renewable companies (and landowners) – the equivalent of money in brown envelopes on the golf course. The Greens have built themselves a bastion – but it will eventually come tumbling down. If journalists just did their job and investigated corruption instead of lapping up the spills from the saucer of cream, this whole pack of cards could fall – in very rapid fashion.

Over at http://wattsupwiththat.com/2014/10/26/yes-virginia-and-everyone-else-the… …. where Joe Bastardi illustrates the ocean current changes building up in the tropical Pacific, changes that will bring the rains to put an end of drought in California and the along the western seaboard of the Americas. One of the leading ENSO specialists, Bob Tisdale, disagrees – see his comment at 7.55am (sixth one down). Joe Bastardi's response to Tisdale at 8.54am is also interesting as it concludes by saying of ENSOs (la Nina/el Nino events, etc) 'it is conceivable that the intensity of incoming radiation may be a factor …'. Wow. This almost sounds like Piers Corbyn.
