Tiahuanaco

At http://latino.foxnews.com/latino/entertainment/2015/03/27/bolivia-detect… … we have all heard of Tiahuanaco, high in the Andes, and its mysterious ruins – now a buried pyramid is thought to have been discovered.

Tiahuanaco is thought to have begun as an agricultural settlement around 1580BC (shortly after the 1628-5BC low growth tree ring event and corresponding ice core anomaly). It fell into decline in the 12th century AD (which appears to be concurrent with a climate switch) – a drought and famine.. It was at its peak between AD724 onwards, but this is not about its decline. If the pyramid is found to date prior to 724AD it would perhaps upset the current consensus view. One to watch out for.
