There is some merit in this but hardly likely to be the whole story. You might also like to go to http://weatheraction.com and read the LH side of the web site page where Piers Corbyn provides his opinion of the unruly weather. It's all down to a jet stream that won't stand still and is going up and down like a yoyo on a string. He claims he predicted the wild weather months ago – and it is going to last until the end of the month (a few days after the arrival of that CME above).
