It is often depressing to read CAGW stuff but you are rarely far away from it especially in the media with its constant thump thump of doom and gloom, even when there is something positive to address. A blowout by a big volcano may lead to a downturn in climate – it would get cooler as the atmosphere would become full of aerosols etc. Are they preparing this as an excuse for a downturn in climate during the second half of the 60 year period with its dominance of La Nina over El Nino. It is no accident a big La Nina is currently brewing out in the Pacific tropics. Are they hoping to use the volcano as hoop to skip through?
