The German study corroborates the influence of planetary tidal forces on solar activity. They claim the tidal influences of Jupiter, Venus and the Earth affect the solar magnetic field thus governing the solar eleven year cycle. To reach their conclusion the researchers compared historical observations of solar activity from the last one thousand years with planetary constellations, statistically proving the two phenomena are linked. There is complete parallelism between the planets over 90 solar cycles. As with the gravitational pull on the Moon causing tides on the Earth planets are able to displace plasma on the Sun's surface. Tideal forces are strongest when there is maximum Venus-Earth-Jupiter alignment – which occurs every 11.07 years etc.

It seems the Russian mafia get everywhere. Millions of dollars are missing and officials are either in prison or have fled the country. The Russian space sector is at the heart of massive embezzlement investigations – which I supppose is the American point of view (and not necessarily that of the Russians themselves). The same might be said about HS2 in the UK – huge sums of money have fallen into a bottomless pit.
