Dinosaur Blood Vessels

At https://phys.org/news/2020-02-dinosaur-blood-vessels-ages.html .. scientists in the US have been analysing via infrared, X-rays, and spectromicroscopy, dinosaur remains in order to dscover how soft tissue managed to survive over millions of years. It seems it runs counter to the science, described as dogma, that protein rich body parts cannot survive longer that a million or so years. It seems that it has become vital for the science to explain this survival mechanism – no doubt because it has become somewhat embarrassing when confronted by recent finds. The researchers published their findings in Scientific Reports. They chose as a specimen for research at T. Rex fossil tibia in which they duly found blood vessels (or evidence of their remains). It seems blood vessel – collagen and elaston structures that do not it seems fossilise in the same way as mineralised bone. As such, they are able to persist over geological time. This will be the line taken when the survival of blood vessels and other soft tissue is used to assert dinosaurs ain't as old as gradualists demand. It doesn't make a lot of difference in a catastrophic model of geology.
