At https://phys.org/news/2021-11-dinosaur-species-greenland-million-years.html … a dinosaur that lived 214 million years ago in what is now Greenland is described as a long necked herbivore, a predecessor of the sauropods. In other words, it was a plant eater and Greenland, at the time, was green with vegetation. The remains belong to the late Triassic era. Therefore, possibly, they are also collateral from the Triassic-Jurassic boundary extinction event. It was at this time the super continent of Pangaea began to break apart, forming the Atlantic Ocean.
