James Webb Again

At https://dailygalaxy.com/2025/05/jwst-revealed-this-ancient-galaxy … James Webb, it is claimed, has upset mainstream cosmology once again by revealing the most distant galaxy, fully intact, only 280 million years after Big Bang. The distant galaxy was spotted by the space telescope recently. The observation, using the telescope’s infrared capabilities, moves astronomers closer to the first galaxies and stars that emerged in the young universe.

The telescope has observed an unexpected number of bright high redshift galaxies. These, we are told, have nothing to do with beacons of light coming from black holes. Indeed, the brightness is due to intense star manufacture. That is the current explanation it would seem.

At https://phys.org/news/2025-05-mysterious-planet.html … the hunt for Planet Nine has found an object, much smaller than Pluto, big enough to be called a dwarf planet, in an orbit beyond Neptune. It is around 430 miles across, it is estimated, so it is quite small as these things go. It has an elongated orbit that takes it in and out of the Oort Cloud. Or so it is thought. Its orbit is said to last 25,000 years – and there are probably a lot of these objects in the outer solar system. However, James Webb has not yet been pointed in its direction.

At https://phys.org/news/2025-05-earth-asteroids.html … there are an estimated one million Near Earth Objects orbiting out there in near space. However, what are these object made of, astronomers are asking. An important thing to know if they discover one on a collision course.
